By requesting or using beta access, you agree to these Beta Terms. A waitlist request does not guarantee access, and FOKUS™ may approve, limit, suspend, or end beta access at any time.

Beta service

FOKUS™ is prerelease study-planning software. Features, recommendations, availability, and stored data may change or contain errors. You remain responsible for checking exam dates, study decisions, and the accuracy of information you enter. Academic outcomes and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed.

Permission to use FOKUS™

You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable permission to use the beta for evaluation and personal study planning. You may not sell access, copy or distribute the software, scrape the service, bypass access controls, access another person’s data, introduce malicious code, or use FOKUS™ in violation of law.

Product ownership and feedback

FOKUS™, its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original content remain the property of Elias Järvenpää and applicable licensors. To the extent permitted by law, you may not reverse engineer or use non-public parts of the service to create a derivative or competing product without prior written permission.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow it to be used to operate, improve, and develop FOKUS™ without payment or an obligation to implement it. You keep ownership of content you submit and grant only the permission reasonably needed to operate the beta.

Privacy and changes

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Material changes to these terms will be presented for renewed acceptance before they apply to continued participation.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights that apply to you under Finnish or European Union law.
